1. Introduction
Welcome to Boacademy, your online resource for becoming an independent bond originator. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Definitions
- “Boacademy” refers to our company and website.
- “Course” refers to the bond origination training provided.
2. User Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
3. Course Enrolment and Payment
Enrolment in our course requires the completion of the online registration form and payment of the course fees as specified on our website. Fees are payable in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Users are responsible for entering the correct payment details during the checkout process. BOAcademy will not be held responsible for any loss resulting from incorrect payment details entered by the user.
a) Payment Security: When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our order forms, you will be redirected to PayFast, where their encryption technology will be used to protect your credit card details. Therefore, no credit card information will be stored on our website.
b) Subscription Payment Option: For users opting for the subscription payment method, a sign-up fee followed by monthly payments will be required, as outlined on our website at the time of enrolment.
– Users agree to fulfill the entire payment plan as outlined during enrolment.
– If a user cancels the subscription before completing the full payment amount, BOAcademy reserves the right to initiate debt collection procedures for any outstanding amounts.
– Unpaid amounts may be claimed from the user’s bond commission earned through our sister company, BOA-Bonds, once the user graduates and begins working as a bond originator. The outstanding balance will be deducted from their first bond commission.
4. Access to Course Materials
Enrolled users receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for personal, non-commercial purposes. Redistribution of the course content is prohibited.
5. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities that occur under their account. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Intellectual Property
All content provided in the course is the property of Boacademy. Users are granted a limited license to access and use the content for personal purposes only.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
· While we strive to ensure the accuracy of the information provided in our courses, we do not guarantee its correctness. Boacademy is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of our website or course.
· While Boacademy aims to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills to become independent bond originators, certain restrictions may apply. Individuals with a history of convictions for any financial crimes, including fraud, may face restrictions in becoming bond originator and over the age of 18 with the legal capacity to enter into legal agreements.
· While we do assist with the registration process to become an independent bond originator, there is a high earning potential, however, we do not guarantee income. Graduates are responsible for their own lead generation and business development activities.
8. Direct Marketing
a) Consent for Direct Marketing
By signing up for our services and providing your personal information, you consent to receive emails, SMS messages, and other electronic communications from BOAcademy. This includes information about our products, services, promotions, and events.
b) Existing Customers
If you are an existing customer of BOAcademy, we may process your personal information for direct marketing purposes under the following conditions:
· We obtained your contact details during the registration of your online profile with BOAcademy.
· The direct marketing communications are for our own similar products or services.
· You are provided with a reasonable opportunity to object, free of charge and without unnecessary formality, to the use of your electronic contact details:
o At the time your information was collected; and
o On each occasion that we communicate with you for direct marketing purposes, if you have not initially refused such use.
c) Content of Marketing Communications
All direct marketing communications from BOAcademy will include:
· Details identifying the sender or the person on whose behalf the communication has been sent.
· An address or other contact details to which you may send a request to cease such communications.
d) Opting Out
You have the right to opt out of receiving direct marketing communications from us at any time. You can do so by:
· Clicking the unsubscribe link in any promotional email you receive from us.

9. Termination
Boacademy reserves the right to terminate user access to the course for violations of these terms. In such cases, users will not be entitled to a refund.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Cape Town, South Africa.
11. Changes to Terms
Boacademy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes via email or through our website.
